PIN PRESSURE INDICATOR™

Using Pin Pressure as a leading indicator for setting price targets

AJ Monte, Chief Market Strategist for the Market Guys, has written a paper for the Market Technicians Association on the Topic of Pin Pressure.

This document was grounded in research conducted by the University of Illinois showing how Option Trading Volume affected the price of the underlying stock in which the option contracts where traded.

As a foreign trader, i was wondering what your thoughts are on the role of currency risk considering some of the option positions that you have recommended recently.
My local currency, Pounds Sterling, has been badly beaten up against the dollar in the last 6 months. It has devalued about 30% in the last 8 months. Some of the strategies such as Golden buywrite aim to return about 30% in 1 year. Whilst this is an excellent return, the weakness of the Pound/strength of the Dollar leaves me uneasy about these longer term trades, particularly as one of your recommendations is a bearish dollar trade.
Are there strategies which are more suitable to foreign traders than others or is my concern unwarranted?

    Many thanks
