Weekly Market Report: 5/30/14

Investors need to pay very close attention to the VIX. The volatility index is a contrarian indicator for the S&P 500. Weekly Market Report: 5/9/14

The market is having a hard time moving over a well-established resistance area. The other thing I am seeing is a drop in volume. This normally occurs when the buyers start losing interest in higher prices. I would suggest that you keep your stops in place and focus on building your cash position. This is the best thing you can do right now in order to protect your positions.

This is not a time to relax in this market. There are still many signs that tell us we are going lower. In the video, I describe what looks like a Head & Shoulders Top forming in the S&P 500.  The best advice I can give you right now is to be sure you have your stops in place.
